In his fourth year on the Web.com Tour, former UTA golfer Zack Fischer earned exempt status after racking up four top-25 finishes and finishing as a top-75 money winner in 2016. His wife, Katie, has served as his caddie the last couple of years. Together, the duo form a unique partnership both on and off the course.
Alex Wood of PGATour.com recently posted this story and interview with Zack and Katie about their special relationship.
A native of Texarkana, Fischer played golf at UTA from 2008-11 and owns two of the five lowest single season scoring averages in program history. He was a 2-time first team all-Southland Conference selection.
