With a 7:30 a.m. start time for his practice round this morning at the PGA Championship, it was no surprise that UTA director of golf Stuart Deane played the first four holes of today's practice round solo. However, on the 14th tee he was joined by a well-known playing partner - none other than Dustin Johnson, currently the top ranked golfer in the world. Needless to say, the size of the gallery increased pretty quickly. By the time the group reached the 18th green, there were hundreds of golf fans watching.
We'll have more coverage of today's practice round, including comments from Deane and his caddy, redshirt freshman golfer Zach Cole, about playing with Johnson later today on UTAMavs.com. For more, follow UTA golf on Twitter and Instagram.
In the meantime check out a few photos from today's practice round.
