Lee had previously worked for Texas Christian University as a marketing assistant. He joined TCU in the fall of 2012 with the school's entrance into the Big 12 conference. Lee was in charge of group sales across all of TCU's six ticketed sports and worked with aspects of marketing TCU sporting events. He also helped lead TCU to three consecutive BIG 12 conference attendance titles in women's soccer from 2012-2014
In 2010, Lee began the Master's program in Sports Management at the University of Texas in Austin. While completing his degree he was able to work in multiple areas of the athletics finding a permeant position with the baseball program. For 18 months he worked with the Baseball Camp program where he was able to greatly increase attendance and improve camper experience.
A Michigan State Alumnus, Lee also worked in the MSU Ticket office as an intern and with the Association of Future of Alumni while perusing his undergrad degree in marketing. Lee and his wife Rachel met at Michigan State and have been married for six years and welcomed their first child in October of 2014.
