The University of Texas at Arlington will hold a pep rally at noon Wednesday, March 14, to cheer on its 2007 SLC Champion Women's Basketball team as they head into the NCAA Tournament.
The pep rally will be held in the Bluebonnet Ballroom of the E. H. Hereford University Center, 300 W. First St. Students, alumni, faculty/staff and Maverick supporters will all gather to cheer on Head "Coach of the Year" Donna Capps, along with all the players from The UT Arlington Women's basketball team.
The UT Arlington Mavericks will open the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship on national television against 16th-ranked Texas A&M at the new Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California (Los Angeles) at 1 p.m., Central Time, Saturday, March 17. The game will be shown on ESPN and will be the first game of the day at USC.
Persons traveling to Los Angeles can purchase tickets for the first and second rounds by going online at www.usctrojans.com. Tickets are $20 for single session adults tickets, $15 for students and senior citizens. All-tournament tickets are $40 for adults and $30 for students and senior citizens.
