Redesigned UTAMavs.com set to launch

ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington Athletics unveils its redesigned website, UTAMavs.com, on Tuesday. The re-launch coincides with the debut of "Inside UTA Athletics," a sports-specific program created for UTAMavs.com.
The new UTAMavs.com incorporates expanded multi-media and social media options, while continuing to inform the UTA community of the latest Mavericks' news and events. Team pages, schedules, rosters and more have been given a fresh, updated look aimed to deliver information more efficiently.
UTAMavs.com will also provide enhanced sections on ticketing, recruiting, athletic facilities and Maverick Club. The site is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, with accurate information and consistent navigation. UTAMavs.com is also connected to the Athletics' outlets via Facebook and Twitter.
Video is a major player in the new UTAMavs.com. "Inside UTA Athletics," presented by Mixed-Up Burgers, is a weekly online program produced in conjunction with the UT Arlington Department of Communication. "Inside UTA Athletics" will focus on all 14 sports sponsored at UTA, and will spotlight coaches, student-athletes and other aspects of the UTA Athletics.
The UTAMavs.com redesign has been a five-month project between the UTA Athletics Communication office and CBSSports.com College Network.
"We believe the new UTAMavs.com will deliver everything UTA Maverick fans need to know about their favorite teams in an easy-to-use fashion," Assistant Athletic Director for Communications Art Garcia said. "We're especially excited about the opportunities available through video, such as our new show 'Inside UTA Athletics' and live streaming of College Park Center home games."
