Andrew Siegel became UT Arlington Athletics' first head groundskeeper in the fall of 2012. He is responsible for all day-to-day activities and maintenance at Clay Gould Ballpark and Allan Saxe Field.
Siegel came to UTA after spending a year-and-a-half at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas. Prior to his time at Cedar Crest, he spent three years (2008-11) as the assistant groundskeeper at Olsen Field on the campus of Texas A&M University. Siegel also worked on the Texas A&M field staff for three years (2005-2008) while completing his Bachelor's degree in Agronomy.
Siegel is a native of Houston, Texas and married to the former Casey Sherrill.
