KEVIN FRALICKS
While at UNT, Fralicks was on a team that led one of the most aggressive athletic facility development campaigns in the University's history. He and his team has led fundraising programs and initiatives for many new facilities; including a new Tennis Center, new Soccer Stadium, new Softball Stadium, new Athletic Training and Administration Center, new Academic Center for Student Athletes, and a new Football Stadium. Fralicks is a 1987 graduate of the University of North Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, with major emphasis in Kinesiology, Leisure Management, and Political Science. Prior to coming to the University of North Texas, Fralicks spent 16 years as a city administrator in the area of community services and community development. Fralicks was responsible for overseeing the funding management, design, and operations of many municipal athletic facilities. Fralicks has served on several National Boards of Directors and has been the keynote speaker for National Conferences in Texas, Maryland, Utah, and Colorado. Fralicks is a native of Duncanville, Texas, where he was a two-sport athlete. He played amateur soccer in the Dallas area and went on to the University of North Texas. While at North Texas, he went to work for the Recreational Sports Office and developed a love for athletic administration. He earned his degree and quickly went to work in municipal athletic administration which later landed him in community development. Fralicks is the 2002 recipient of the UNT Distinguished Alumni Award for the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies, and served on the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department Advisory Committee from 2001 to 2003. Fralicks and his wife Lucie have three children, daughter, Erin (21) is a senior at UNT majoring in Leisure and Sport Management, daughter, Elissa (19) is a sophomore student-athlete at ULM, and, son, Jake (17) is a junior student-athlete at Euless Trinity High School.
