Assistant Sports Information Director
Kristyna Mancias begins her third year as the Assistant Sports Information Director at UT Arlington in 2010-2011.

Mancias is the primary media relations contact for the women's basketball, softball, tennis and track and field and cross country programs.

Mancias is also responsible for the production of media guides, game notes, press releases and updating information for all four teams on the Mavericks official athletic website.

Prior to joining the UT Arlington athletic staff, Mancias served as the interim Sports Information Director at the University of Texas-Pan American where she was the primary contact for all 12 athletic programs.

As an undergraduate at UT-Pan American, Mancias was as a student assistant sports information director under the direction of SID Joe Monaco.

Mancias was a two-year member of The Pan American Newspaper where she served as a sports writer and competed in the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association held in San Antonio in 2007. Mancias was also the voice of the Lady Broncs volleyball and basketball programs in 2007.

Mancias is a native of McAllen, Texas, and is a 2007 graduate of UT-Pan American where she received her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
