UTA crowned Sun Belt Community Service Initiative champions

UT Arlington amassed four Sun Belt Community Service Initiative titles during 2015-16.

Tim Kennedy is a Student Development Specialist II. He received a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 1992, and a master's degree of Exercise and Sport Science in 1995, both at Texas State University.

While at Texas State University, Kennedy competed as a student athlete in cross-country and track and field. He worked with the San Antonio Spurs for six seasons as an assistant strength and conditioning coach and was part of the 1999 championship team.

He has over 20 years of experience working with high school and college students. His passions are helping student athletes prepare for life after sports, working with students with learning disorders and working with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (at UTA).
