Men listed among nation's top 25 for third straight week
AT UT ARLINGTON Cross Country Highlights: 2012
• Ran in five meets on the year, including the WAC Championships.
• Placed 59th at the conference meet with a 5k clocking of 19:56.41.
• Took ninth at the Louisiana Tech Mook 4 (13:31).
2011
• Ran in three events, including the Southland Conference Championships, her freshman season.
• Finished 40th at the UTA Season Opener and 43rd at the Baylor Invitational.
• Came in 80th at the SLC Championships with a clocking of 25:28.
Indoor Highlights: 2013
• Scored a point for the Mavericks in the 800 meters, finishing eighth.
• Ran a season-best 800m time of 2:15.01 in a sixth-place showing at the Bill Bergan Invitational.
• Also placed sixth in the 800m at the Texas A&M Invitational (2:19.83) and the Varsity Apartments Invitational (2:18.22).
2012
• Competed in five meets during her first indoor season.
• Placed 10th in the prelims of the 800m at the Southland Conference Championships with a season-best time of 2:17.51.
• Had a season-best mile time of 5:17.52 at the Varsity Apartments Invitational.
• Took fifth in the 800m at the Oklahoma Invitational (2:20.88)
Outdoor Highlights: 2012
• Competed in eight meets for the Mavericks.
• Had a season-best 800m time of 2:14.24 at the Beach Invitational.
• Participated in the prelims of the 800m at the conference meet, posting a time of 2:14.89.
• Was a member of the 4x800 relay squad at the Texas Relays.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Four-year letterwinner at Pearland High School.
• Named MVP in cross country three times.
• Was honored with the Distinguished Athlete Award, presented by the United States Marines.
• Led track team to district championships in 2009 and 2011.
• Also helped her track team to a regional championship in 2009.
• Finished 11th in the nation at the 2010 National Junior Olympics in the 1500m, clocking a 4:56.
