UTA will send nearly half of its squad to prestigious event
Cross Country Highlights:
Competed in one event, the UTA Season Opener, where he placed 25th (16:25.5).
Did not compete in any events during the season.
Competed in the 800 meters at three meets on the season.
Clocked a season-best 1:58.26 in a 12th-place effort in the 800m at the Varsity Apartments Invitational.
Had a season-best time of 1:57.96 to place eighth in the 800 meters at the Oklahoma Invitational.
Placed 18th at the SLC Championships in the 800 meters (1:59.15).
Placed 12th in the 800m at the Texas State Invitational (1:57.78).
Ran a 4:18.23 in the 1500m at the TCU Invitational to finish 15th.
Had a season-best 800-meter time of 1:56.92 at the Track-It Buster Invitational.
Also cracked the 2-minute mark in the event at the Bobby Lane Invitational (1:57.92)
Competed on the 4x800 relay team at the Texas Relays.
PRIOR TO UT ARLINGTON
Was an All-SWC award winner at the University of New Hampshire.
Named to the All-SWC honorable mention team.
Earned All-New England accolades in the distance medley relay.
Lettered in cross country and track and field for Pomperaug High School.
Named to the all-state team in both indoor and outdoor track and field.
Holds the school's DMR, SMR and 4x400m records.
Clocked a high school best of 3:41 in the SMR and 3:24 in the 4x400m.
Is the son of John and Tammy Critelli.
Born on August 14, 1991.
Has two brothers - John and Phil, who is also on the UTA track team, and one sister - Ashley.
