AUSTIN, Texas - UT Arlington's women's track athletes posted a trio of top-five times in school history to highlight the Mavericks action on Friday at the 86th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
The quartet of Ashley Burris, Breonna Baldwin, Ashly Wright and DeAndrea Smithposted another one of those marks, logging a 3:43.56 in 4x400 relay, the third fastest time in school history. The squad placed 20th in the event.
In the women's 100-meter hurdles, Porschea Wilsoncrossed the line with a time of 14.16, the fourth-best time in school annals. She placed 40th in the race.
Individually, Reynolds narrowly missed a spot in Saturday's 100-meter university finals, as she came in 11th with a time of 11.58. Instead, Reynolds will compete in the 100m invitational on Saturday.
In addition, the women's 4x100 relay team of LaDoreal Thompson, Mallard, Smith and Reynolds clocked a 46.51 to place 21st. The women's distance medley relay team of Katelyn Hayward, Breonna Baldwin, Sydney Hampton and Porschea Wilson(11:53.27) placed eighth.
The men's relay squads were also heavily involved on day three of the meet. UTA's 4x800 relay team--Anthony Hilliman, Philip Critelli, Jacob Critelliand Ryan Tilotta--had the best finish (5th, 7:40.51).
In other individual action, Kailey Bostic placed 33rd in the 100m with a clocking of 11.87, while DeOna Stafford finished 57th (14.42) in the 100m hurdles. On the men's side, Quentin Butlerplaced 20th in the 100 meters (10.53).
