Mavericks distance crews ready for Western Athletic Conference
Cross Country Highlights:
Participated in two events on the year for the Mavericks.
Placed 10th at the UTA Season Opener with a 5k time of 15:33.6.
Finished 11th at the Louisiana Tech Mook 4 (20:11).
Competed in just one event, the UTA Season Opener, where he placed 29th in 21:45.

Placed 23rd in the 3000m at the WAC Championships with a time of 9:19.90.
Finished 16th in the mile at the SLC Championships with a season-best time of 4:29.14.
Took fifth in the mile run at the Oklahoma Invitational (4:29.81).
Ran a season-best time of 8:49.68 in the 3000 meters at the Texas 10-Team Invitational to place 10th.
Placed third in the 3000 meters in the Varsity Apartments Shocker Quad with a time of 8:56.59.
Earned second-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors after a sixth-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase (9:44.44).
Placed 12th at the WAC meet in the 5000m with a season-best time of 15:29.67.
Won the 5000m at the Texas State Invitational in 15:31.64.
Placed first in the 300m steeplechase at the Azusu Pacific Invitational (9:25.59).

Set a new personal-best time in the 1600m with a 4:24.53 in the District 8-5A Meet.
