Strong finishes for Mavericks in Gold Division race
AT UT ARLINGTON Indoor Highlights: 2012
• Scored in two events at the Southland Conference Championships.
• Placed fourth in the mile run (5:05.08) at the league meet.
• Helped the medley relay team to a third-place showing at the SLC Championships.
• Had her best mile time of the year at the Texas 10-Team Invitational (4:58.23).
Outdoor Highlights: 2012
• Competed in eight meets for the Mavericks.
• Ran a season-best 1500m time of 4:40.27 at the Beach Invitational.
• Had a time of 4:52.81 in the preliminaries of the 800m at the SLC Outdoor Championships.
• Was a member of the distance medley relay team at the Texas Relays.
Cross Country Highlights: 2011
• Ran in all six meets of the season as a true freshman.
• Placed 38th at the SLC Championships with an 8K time of 23:18.
• Finished the 10K at the South Central Regional in 25:06 to place 135th.
• Came in 29th at the UTA Season Opener, clocking a 12:33.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Was a member of the cross country and track and field team.
• Named the Houston Memorial HS MVP in her final three seasons.
• Was an individual regional qualifier in cross country in 2009 and 2010.
• Helped her cross country team to regionals in her final three seasons.
• Track and field district champion in the 800m and 1600m in 2010.
• Clocked a high-school best time of 1:00.3 in the 400m, 2:17.40 in the 800m, 5:10 in the 1600m and 11:52 in the 2-mile run.
