Women place 17th against strong field in Arkansas.

Cross Country Highlights:
• Placed 52nd in the 10k at the NCAA South Central Regional with a time of 31:20.3.
• Had top-10 finishes as the Bear Twilight Invitational and UTA Season Opener.

• Was a second-team All-Sun Belt Conference choice after placing seventh at the league meet.
• Had an 8k time of 25:53.5 to help the Mavericks claim the SBC title.
• Crossed with a 10k time of 32:24.7 to finish 65th in the South Central Regional.
• Participated in all six meets for the Mavs, including a 29th-place showing at the Crimson Classic (25:38.5).

• Named the Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and first-team All-WAC.
• Led the Mavericks in winning the team's conference title, finishing the 8k championship in fifth place (24:47.09).
• Paced UTA at all four events in which he finished, but was injured during the South Central Regional and did not cross the finish line and missed the Chile Pepper Invitational due to illness.
• Won individual titles at his first two collegiate events, the UTA Season Opener and the Louisiana Tech Mook 4.
• Finished fifth at the Notre Dame Invitational with a 5-mile time of 24:50.

Indoor Highlights:
• Competed in two meets on the year, placing 17th in the 5000 meters at the Sun Belt Championships.
• Placed fourth in the 3000m at the Herm Wilson Invitational (8:40.85).

• Competed in four meets for the conference champion Mavericks.
• Placed 10th in the 3000m at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (8:37.95).
• Had a season-best 3000m time of 8:35.54 in a 13th-place showing at the Frank Sevigne Invitational.

• Scored two points for the Mavericks at the WAC Championships by virtue of a seventh-place finish in the 3000m (8:53.77).
• Had a season-best 3000m time of 8:29.67 at the Bill Bergan Invitational.
• Netted top-five finishes in the 3000m at the Texas A&M Invitational and Varsity Apartments Invitational.

Outdoor Highlights:
• Did not participate in any meets during the outdoor season.

• Saw action in three meets for the triple-crown winning Mavericks.
• Placed ninth in the 5000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (15:24.10).
• Took 15th at the Mt. SAC Relays with the second-fastest 5000m time in school history (14:27.88).
• Finished fifth in the 5000m at the Crimson Tide Invitational with a clocking of 14:41.68.

• Finished eighth in the 10000m at the WAC Championships with a time of 32:57.08.
• Placed fourth in the 1500m at the Texas State Invitational (4:03.27).
• Took 19th at the Mt. SAC Relays in the 5000m (14:43.74).

• A four-year varsity letterman in both cross country and track.
• Was a four-time regional qualifier in cross country (2008-11) and track (2009-12).
• Was the District 7-5A cross country champion in 2009 and won District 4-5A crown in 2010 and 2011.
• Named to the Nike South Nationals first-team all-region.
• Crowned champion in the 2011 district 4-5A 3200 meters and 1600 meters.
• Had personal-best times of :52 in the 400m, 4:18 in the 1600m and 14:38 in the 3-mile run.

• Was an AP Scholar and a member of the Gifted/Talented program in high school.
• Was a three-year member of the honor roll.
• Member of the Dallas Metroplex Striders.
