Was a three-year starter for District 16-5A Georgetown High School under coach Danny Wallace... named to 2011 5A All-State team and All-Central Texas as a shortstop... batted .387 with 31 runs scored, 21 RBIs and 16 steals as a senior... grabbed first-team all-district honors as a senior after earning honorable mention accolades the two previous seasons... was a three-time all-district academic award winner... helped lead his team to 2009 and 2010 district titles and a runner-up finish in 2011... played in the 2011 4A-5A All-Star Game and was a Team Texas selection... played summer baseball with Austin Wings Premiere baseball program for James Ellison.
