The Kats got the run back in the bottom of the inning as Bobby Verbick delivered an RBI double to left field.
The Mavs managed to push across two runs in the seventh inning as a pair of hits and a walk loaded the bases before Radkowski delivered a two-run single to left field.
SHSU reached double digits in the eighth as the third hit of the inning resulted in a Mann RBI single.
