SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Early morning rain in the San Antonio area and inclement weather have forced game two of UT Arlington and UTSA's Southland Conference baseball series to be pushed back to Sunday, March 21. The Mavericks dropped game one of the series 8-2 Friday night.

The series will resume Sunday morning with a doubleheader schedule for 11 a.m. at Roadrunner Field.

The Mavericks (7-11, 1-3 SLC) will start right-hander Rett Varner (1-2) while UTSA is expected to start lefty Matt Crocker in the second game of the series. Both teams have yet to determine a starting pitcher for the series finale.

Friday, UT Arlington began a stretch where it plays seven of eight and 15 of its next 21 games on the road.
