UTA BASEBALL TO HOST MIRACLE LEAGUE DAY ON FRIDAY
April 4, 2007
ARLINGTON, Texas -
The UT Arlington baseball team will host a Miracle League Day prior to its game against UTSA on April 6. "We are thrilled to give these kids an opportunity to come out to the ballpark and have fun interacting with our student-athletes," said head coach Jeff Curtis. "These kids have been through a lot and they deserve the chance to participate in the activities that we take for granted everyday."
The kids will have the opportunity to interact with the student-athletes at UT Arlington while participating in hitting throwing and defensive activities. The team's will be announced as they parade along the warning track behind home plate, which will be followed by speeches and ceremonial first pitches.
