ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington Baseball is hosting a youth camp June 9-12 (Monday-Thursday) from 9 a.m. to noon at Clay Gould Ballpark. Registration is $140 and available at: http://collegebaseballcamps.com/uta.
UT Arlington baseball camps are a great opportunity for young players to enhance their skills on the diamond. The UT Arlington baseball program has produced several of the top collegiate players in the state of Texas and a total of nine former Mavericks have taken their skills to the Major League level.
Youth Skills Camp designed for kids in Kindergarten through the 8th Grade. The camp will be run by the UTA coaching staff and current players. They will work with the campers in groups and individually focusing on various baseball skills, especially fundamentals.
All campers must bring their own baseball gear and please be sure to clearly label all personal belongings and equipment. This camp is open to any and all entrants. Entrants may be divided based on age or grade level.
Campers will report to Clay Gould Ballpark on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington (corner of Fielder & Park Row). A sign in table will be at the front gate with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
High school camps will take place later in the summer and fall due to ongoing construction at Clay Gould Ballpark. Details should be available in mid-August at: http://collegebaseballcamps.com/uta.
