ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington baseball program is hosting its 26th Annual Baseball Alumni weekend this Friday and Saturday. This weekend's festivities will feature a golf tournament on Friday, and then a day at Clay Gould Ballpark, which will include batting practice, a home run derby, the alumni game and a post-game barbeque.
The former Mavericks in attendance will begin the weekend on Friday at Riverside Golf Club in Grand Prairie with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start set at 1 p.m.
The weekend will conclude with the alumni game on Saturday at Clay Gould Ballpark on the campus of UT Arlington. Batting practice will start the day at noon, with the home run derby following at 1 p.m. and the game directly following at 1:30 p.m. After the game the Maverick alumni will partake in the post-game barbeque.
