ARLINGTON, Texas -- Each week, the UTA Athletic Department spotlights a Texas Trust Scholar-Athlete of the Week to showcase the excellence in academic achievement of its student-athletes. Today, learn all about UTA sophomore infielder/outfielder Zac Cook

A native of Flower Mound, Texas, Cook is a business major with a 3.631 cumulative GPA. As a freshman, Cook stepped right into the UTA lineup, sporting a .296 average (32-for-108) in 37 games, adding four doubles, eight RBI and a .387 on-base percentage, stealing three bases.
