• Son of Beverly and David Daniel • Born January 15, 1981 • A communications major (public relations emphasis) at UTA • Older brother, Matt, is an assistant coach at UTA • Dad played basketball at Williams Baptist College • After graduating, plans on becoming a basketball coach at the collegiate level • When not studying or playing basketball, enjoys watching movies or spending time with girlfriend, Nicole • Says nickname “is ‘Bird’ or ‘J-Bird’– my mom and dad always called me that growing up...but you can call me Josh!” • Chose UTA because “I wanted to be a winner both athletically and academically.”
