Showed flashes of being a dominant player in the Southland Conference during season... posted back-to-back double-doubles in final two regular season games of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds in win over Stephen F. Austin and a 17-point, 11-rebound outing against Texas State in the regular-season finale at Texas Hall March 3... started five games during season... had 11 points and seven rebounds in his college debut against UT-Tyler... scored double figures five times during season.
High School
A three-year letterwinner for at Irving High School... named first-team all-district all three years...also named first-team all-region and all-state his senior season after averaging 17.3 ppg, 10.1 rpg and 2.2 apg while leading the Tigers to the regional finals and a 33-5 record...was a McDonald's All-American nominee and was named the district's most valuable player as a senior...also participated in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star game where he scored 11 points and he registered 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Texas-Louisiana All-Star game...ranked 42nd in the state of Texas by Mike Kumstadt's Texas Basketball Review.
