Appeared in 28 games as a freshman...finished season averaging 5.8 points per game...shot 35% from 3-point range (40-114) which was second on the team...114 of his 153 field goal attempts were from 3-point range...career-highs of 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and 28 minutes vs. UT Dallas early in the season...followed that game with a 16-point performance vs. Utah Valley...conference season-high 12 points at UCA...scored in double figures five times which also included 14 points vs. North Dakota and 15 vs. Texas Wesleyan.
Redshirted...underwent knee surgery at the beginning of the season...able to return during the season to practice with the team.
Finished his four-year career at Elgin as the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,744 career points, 363 behind all-time leader Sean Harrington. Armani hit 337 career 3-pointers, which is not only a school record but is sixth all-time in the Illinois high school history. He broke six scoring and 3-point shooting records as a freshman. Matched his single-game record with 9 3-pointers in a game last January....maintained a 3.5 grade-point average all four years in high school.
