  • UTA concluded its regular season with a 24-7 overall record and a 14-4 mark and first place standing in the Sun Belt Conference. Top-seeded UTA enters the Sun Belt Championships in Friday's quarterfinal - 11:30 a.m. against the winner of the 8/9 first round game on Wednesday.
  • Louisiana finished its regular season with a 20-11 overall record and 10-8 mark in the Sun Belt. The Ragin' Cajuns enter the Sun Belt Championships as the No. xx seed and will play xx in the tournament's first round on Wednesday.
  • Louisiana's starting lineup consisted of forwards Justin Miller and Bryce Washington and guard Frank Bartley, Justin Miller and senior Jay Wright (playing in his final home game).
  • Nathan Nawkins and Kaelon Wilson were UTA's first substitute off the bench for the 22nd time this season, coming into the game at the 14:20 mark of the first half.
  • Senior forward Jorge Bilbao moved into a tie for 4th on the UTA list for career appearances with 122. He equals the participation mark of Anthony Vereen (2005-09).
  • Junior forward Kevin Hervey scored a career-high 34 points in today's game at Louisiana. He has scored in double-figures in 24-straight appearances (He missed the Troy game at Trojan Arena on Jan. 14) and 27 times this season.
  • Hervey surpassed 1,000 career points. He now has 1,029 points in his career at UTA. He is the 22nd player to surpass 1,000 career points.
  • Hervey made 7 3-point field goals at Louisiana, setting a new career high. He had 5 3-pointers earlier this season at Georgia Southern. His total equals the third-most in a single game in UTA program history.
  • Hervey's 11 made field goals set a career-high and his 17 attempts equaled a season high. His previous high for makes was 9 on three occasions. His previous best for attempts was 17 earlier this season against Coastal Carolina and 20 20 at Memphis.
  • Senior guard Drew Charles attempted 4 3-point field goals in the game against Louisiana, giving his 425 in his career. He surpassed Rodrick Epps (422, 2004-08) for 8th on the UTA list for career 3-point attempts.
  • Junior guard Erick Neal attempted 16 shots at Louisiana, his highest single game total this season. He attempted 14 shots twice previously, the last time at Troy in January.
