Arlington, Texas - The Southland Coference today announced its men's basketball postseason awards and four UT Arlington men's players and head coach Scott Cross were honored by the league.
LaMarcus Reed was named a first team all-conference performer after leading the league in scoring at 20.4 points per game.
Bo Ingram earned second team all-conference honors while Kevin Butler was named to the third team. Butler was also named the conference's Newcomer of the Year. Ingram won the same award last year. Jordan Reves was a honorable mention selection.
Head coach Scott Cross, who led the Mavs to a 15-1 conference mark, was named the league's Coach of the Year. It was the first time Cross has earned this honor.
