Men's basketball signs Bojan Mihajlovic to national letter of intent

Arlington, Tex. - UT Arlington head men's basketball coach Scott Cross announced today the program has signed forward Bojan Mihajlovic to a national letter of intent to begin playing for the Mavericks in the fall of 2011.
"We are excited to have Bojan join our program," Cross said. "He is a proven low-post player who can score and rebound. He can score with his back to the basket or by facing-up an opponent. He will be a great addition to our team and we are looking forward to getting him on campus and into our program."
Mihajlovic (6-6, 225 pounds) will join the Mavericks from Central Wyoming Community College were he was the 16th-leading scorer in NJCAA Division I last year as he averaged 20.6 points per game. He also averaged 7.4 rebounds per game in 2010-11.
He was selected to the first team all-Region IX and all-regional tournament teams following last season. Mihajlovic was also a Wyoming Community College first team selection.
A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Mihajlovic ended his two-year career at Central Wyoming as the school's all-time leading scorer.
Mihajlovic represented Serbia and Montenegro in 2004 on its Under-16 National Team in the European Championships in Greece. He was born on April 29, 1988.
