Tickets are available for the UT Arlington men's basketball game at TCU on Monday, Dec. 17, at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
Student Activities is giving away tickets to the first 150 students who claim them. Tickets are available in the Student Activities Office in the lower level of the E.H. Hereford University Center, 300 W. First St., after 10 a.m. Wednesday, and between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday.
Student tickets also are available at the Maverick Activities Center, 500 W. Nedderman Drive, 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, and noon to midnight Sunday. Free shuttles are available from the UT Arlington campus at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17. The shuttles will return immediately following the game. Students must reserve a spot on the shuttle by 4 p.m. Friday.
Tickets for faculty, staff and the general public are $15 and can be purchased by contacting Angela Martinez at (817) 272-7168 or email@example.com. Faculty or staff members that purchase a UT Arlington/TCU men's basketball ticket will receive a free ticket to both the men's and women's conference opener games at Texas Hall in January.
Tickets also are available for everyone at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, 2900 Stadium Drive, before the game. Free T-shirts will be given away to UT Arlington students, faculty and staff at the game.
All UT Arlington faculty, staff, alumni, boosters, students and fans are invited to a pre-game social will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Blue Mesa Grill, 1600 S. University Drive in Fort Worth. Complimentary quesadilla and nacho bars will be available along with drink specials.
The Mavericks are off to the best start in 48 years. The men's team is ranked No. 14 in www.collegeinsider.com's Mid Major Poll, which has been around for nine years.
