Bryce competed in nine of the team's 12 tournaments in 2007-08 and finish fifth among the Mavericks in stroke average with a 74.54...Established himself quickly as a factor on the 2007-08 team by finishing tied for third in the team's second tournament, the Texas Cup. In that event, he shot a 75-68=143...Had his best tournament of the season in UTA's record-breaking performance at the Turtle Bay Invitational in Hawaii, shooting 74-67-69=210. It was one of only three times in the 2007-08 season when a Mavericks golfer shot back-to-back sub-70 rounds.
SUMMER 2007
Took third at the Zulu Open (73-73=146) and competed at the KZN Championship (70-77-68-72=287).
AS A FRESHMAN (2006-07)
Ranked fourth on the team with a 74.54 stroke average... he and Zack Reeves were only members of squad to play in all 10 tournaments... led squad with 31 rounds played... low round of 67 at Wolf Pack Classic ties for ninth lowest in UT Arlington history... improved play during spring, averaging 74.14 for five tournaments... posted three top-20 finishes, including tying for seventh at the Callaway Golf Invitational... finished tied for 35th at SLC Championship (78-77-76-231).
PRIOR TO UTA
Attended Westville Boys' High School... captained three South African under-18 teams... represented his province (Kwa-Zulu Natal) at under-16, under-18 and under-23 and senior level... won three tournaments and was runner-up in two others in 2005... fired a course record 64 at the Durban Country Club's Beachwood Course as well as a new tournament record in winning the KZN Invitational (132).
