Made an immediate impact on the Mavericks in 2007-08, finishing at UT Arlington highest-placing golfer in his first tournament, the St. Mary's Inviational...finished his first season with a 74.62 stroke average, good enough for sixth among UT Arlington golfers who competed in at least six tournaments...made the the Top-Six for UT Arlington's team in the 2008 Southland Conference Championships and finished tied for 37th...had three Top-20 finishes as a freshman.

A two-time Class 4A all-state golf at THS... recorded six tournament victories his senior season at THS... averaged a school record 70.14 strokes per round in 2007... tied for 10th at the Class 4A UIL State Tournament (69-72=141)... tied for 10th at state as a sophomore in 2005 with a 74-72-146... a three-time all-Region II and all-District 11-4A golfer between 2005-07... was the region champion in 2005... four-time all-district between 2004-07... won 20 tournament between high school and summer tour events during his prep career... named to the National Honor Society and graduated cum laude at THS.
