AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04): Compiled a 76.94 stroke average in six tournaments... made five appearances in the spring, including each of thee last four tournaments... shot a personal-best score of 222 (75-75-72) at the 2004 Maxwell Cup in Ardmore, Okla... placed 34th at the SLC Championships, his best finish at a collegiate.
PRIOR TO UTA: Captured the District 7-5A title as a senior... placed third at the 2002 District 6-4A championships... named all-region second team as a senior... first team all-district selection for three years... had 74.68 stroke average as a senior... won the 2002 AJGA Abilene Qualifier by a two-under-par 70 score... shot a career low round of 65 in the second round of the 2001 U.S. Junior Amateurs in San Antonio... received all-academic honors as a senior... earned the SCHS "C" award given to student-athletes who go above and beyond the call of duty to offer support and leadership to teammates.
