UTA'S KRANTZ TIED FOR 15TH AT PACIFIC INVITATIONAL

ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington heads into the final round at the 31st Annual Pacific Invitational on Tuesday sitting in 12th place after shooting an opening round 293 and following it up with a 301 in the second round. Georgia Southern leads the tournament after shooting a two round 565 to lead by seven strokes. Jordan Krantz, a junior from Vermillion Bay, Ontario, Canada, shot an opening round two-under par 70 and followed it up with a 73 in the second round. Krantz is currently tied for 15th place heading into the final round and is eight strokes back of UC Irvine's Vinnie Poncino who shot a 67-68=135. The third and final round will be played Tuesday afternoon at The Reserve at Spanos Park. The Maverick golfers will return to action on September 29-30 when they head to Louisville, Ken. for the Louisville Invitational.
