Macon, Ga. - The UT Arlington golf team is in ninth place at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship after shooting a 10-over par 298 in the first round.
Cash Wilkerson is two-over par and tied for 34th.
Georgia Tech's Seth Reeves is in first with a score of 65 and shooting seven-under par.
The first Maverick is set to tee off in the second round at 8:30 a.m. Saturday to begin the second day at Brickyard at Riverside Golf Club in Macon, Ga.
Team and individual crowning will take place Sunday.
