UTA'S ALLEN TIED FOR 13TH AT SMU STONEBRIDGE INVITATIONAL

ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington senior Landon Allen followed up an opening round 75 with a two-under-par 70 in the second round to sit in a tie for 13th place heading into the final round of the SMU Stonebridge Invitational in McKinney. The team is in 15th place after shooting an opening round 303 and a second round 306. Notre Dame heads into the final round with a six-stroke lead over Wichita State and host SMU. The Mustang's Colt Knost sits at nine-under-par and owns a four-stroke lead over the Fighting Irish's Scott Gustafson. Freshman Marc Campbell, making his collegiate debut, fired an opening round 76 and a second round 75 to tie for 39th place heading into the final round. Junior Jordan Krantz is tied for 70th after shooting 76-81=156. Freshman Michael Douthit is tied for 74th (78-80) and senior Chris Erickson for 82nd (76-84). The final round of the Stonebridge Invitational on Tuesday with the first golfer teeing off at 8:45 a.m.
