KANE-OHE, O'ahu, Hawai'i - The UT Arlington ended its fall golf season with a 15-over-par 303 on the final day to claim ninth place at the Hawai'i Fall Intercollegiate tournament here Wednesday.
The Mavericks finished 28 strokes behind winner Loyola Marymount. The Lions led the tournament from start to finish as they finished the 54-hole tournament even-par 864.
Junior Zack Reeves (72-73-74=219) tied for 12th place with a three-over-par 219. He carded a final round 74.
Senior Ryan Zamorano (73-73-76=222) ended the tournament in 26th place after a 76 on Wednesday. Freshman Bobby Massa (75-76-76=227) also carded a 76 and ended the tournament with an 11-over-par 227. Freshman Bryce Easton (77-74-77=228) had a 77 on Wednesday and senior Bryan Baker shot an 81 on the final day and finished tied for 61st.
UT Arlington will begin the 2007 spring schedule at the Rio Pinar Invitational in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 19-20.
