GOLFERS OPEN SPRING AT RIO PINAR INVITATIONAL
Feb. 19, 2007 ORLANDO, Fla. - Rio Pinar Invitational Tournament notes
UT Arlington opens the 2007 spring schedule as they compete at the Rio Pinar Invitational. The Mavericks will be making their third straight appearance at the Rio Pinar, including 2006 when the Mavs finished third in the field of 18 teams with an 893, 16 strokes behind champion Lamar (877). Head coach Jay Rees will start three freshmen in this week's tournament - Bobby Massa, Bryce Easton and Michael van de Venter. All three started at least one tournament during the fall season.
