ARLINGTON, Tx. - The Golf Coaches Association of American selected UT Arlington's Bobby Massa to their PING All-Central Regional team.

Massa becomes the first UT Arlington player to be named to this annual list of the top collegiate golfers in the country.

Massa, a junior from Irving, Texas, led the Mavericks this season was a 72.42 stroke average which was the best mark in school history.

He was a first team All-Southland Conference selection and played in all 33 rounds for UTA this past season. He set a school record with a 10-under par 62 in the final round of the Turtle Bay Invitational and won the Border Olympics with a 5-under score of 211 for his second career victory.
