"When adding our associate men's head coach position, it was important to keep us moving in the new direction we have established this year," Deane said. "Casey is the right guy for the job and I am so happy he is in his new roll. Casey has a great golf history and is a major asset for the program and the student-athletes. He brings a level of experience and excellence that helps establish, along with coach Catherine Matranga and myself, as one of the best coaching staffs in the country."
Devoll joined the UT Arlington golf program in 2015 and was previously an assistant professional at Rolling Hills Country Club.
A graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce in 1999, the Lubbock, Texas native helped the Lions to their first Lone Star Conference men's golf championship in 33 years with a third-place finish and an All-Conference first-team selection.
