As a junior (2004-05)
Ended his junior season with a 3-26 record in singles and went 2-18 in dual matches...Put up a 2-5 mark at No. 3 singles...Went 16-11 in doubles play and was 7-4 at No. 3 doubles with Ian Vazquez...Ended the fall season with a 1-8 singles record and 8-4 in doubles play...Only singles victory came against Tulane's Jonah Kane-West (6-3, 6-4) in the Hibernia Ragin' Cajun Classic...Teamed with Sandy Farquharson to win five straight matches before falling to TCU's team of Rafael Abreu and Fabrizio Sestini in the finals of the HEB Baylor Fall Invitational, 8-5...Registered one of only two victories the Mavericks gained in their match with #49 TCU when he defeated Radu Barbu, 6-3, 6-4, at the No. 3 position...Went 2-1 in Southland conference play at the No. 3 doubles position with Vazquez.

As a sophomore (2003-04)
All-Southland Conference first team at No. 4 singles after a 5-0 SLC mark...Owned a 10-match win streak from March 9 to April 3...Finished the year with a 24-11 overall mark and was 9-4 in tournament action...Paired with Ian VazquezRowe at No. 2 doubles, finishing 4-9 overall and 3-2 in SLC play...Sealed the Mavericks win over New Mexico State with a three-set (6-4, 6-7, 7-5) victory over Christian Halligan on April 9.

As a freshman (2002-03)
Finished the year with a 20-17 overall record and was 11-6 in tournament action...Went 3-3 at No. 3 singles and 6-8 at No. 4 singles...Was 3-2 against SLC opponents...Paired with David Corrie to go 14-8 at No. 2 doubles and earn all-SLC second team honors...With Corrie, was also 1-0 at No. 1 doubles and 4-1 in the SLC at No. 2.

Prior to UTA
Attended Friedrich Schiller Gymnasium Fellbach...Graduated in Spring of 2002...State champion in doubles...County champion more than 10 times...winner of singles and doubles at the Christmas Classic.

Born January 3, 1983, in Arlington Heights, Va....Son of Maike and Hans Buksik...An international business major at UTA.
