Finished the year with a 14-15 record, including a 4-1 mark in Southland Conference action...Went 1-2 at No. 1 and 10-6 at No. 2 singles...Defeated then No. 30 Oscar Chow 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 on March 21...Teamed with freshman Niels Buksik to go 14-7 at No. 2 doubles and 1-0 at No. 1...Was nationally ranked as high as 108th in singles...Named second team all-SLC...Defeated UTSA's Dennis Andrade 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the Mavs come-from-behind win and sent UTA to the NCAA tourney for the second time in three years...Was named to the Verizon/CoSIDA Academic all-district VI men's at-large team...Was named the SLC men's tennis student-athlete of the year.
