As a junior (2004-05)
Named second-team all-conference after going 5-1 in singles during conference play...Was the third straight year he was selected to the all-conference team...Posted an overall 25-14 record in singles...Went 13-8 at the No. 1 singles position for the Mavericks...Also registered a 12-6 record during the fall season...Defeated #70 James Wan of Stanford, 6-4, 6-3, in the opening round of qualifying for the Icy Hot ITA All-American...Reached the round of 32 in that tournament before falling to Greg Oulette of Florida 0-6, 6-3, 6-0...Won four straight matches on his way to the championship at the Hibernia Ragin' Cajun Classic...In doubles play finished 10-16, which included an 8-4 record in the fall...Teamed with Niels Buksik to take home second place at the HEB Baylor Fall Invitational...The duo went 5-1 on their way to the final.

As a sophomore (2003-04)
Earned all-SLC first team honors after finishing SLC play with a 5-0 mark at No. 3 singles...Finished the year with a 24-11 overall mark, 17-4 at the No. 3 position...Won 11 straight matches...Paired with David Corrie to go 4-2 at No. 2 doubles...Went 6-2 at No. 3 doubles with Petri Van Renensburg and was 3-2 with Josey Trimmier.

As a freshman (2002-03)
Was the lone Maverick on the all-SLC first team after going 5-0 in conference-play at No. 5 singles...Finished the season with a 18-10 overall record, 12-4 at the No. 5 spot...Paired with Nathan McGregor at No. 1 doubles...The tandom finished with a 10-11 overall mark, while finishing 3-2 in league action.

Prior to UTA
Attended Repton School in England, same school former Maverick David Corrie attended...Participated in tennis, swimming, football and squash...Ranked among the top-10 junior players in England.
