The newcomer conculded his first season as a Maverick with 15 total victories, including nine wins in doubles' competition during the 2007-08 campaign... recorded the majority of his success in doubles' competition with teammate David Costa as the UTA duo posted a 7-10 mark... captured three consecutive victories with Costa against University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Texas-Pan American and Southeastern Louisiana... defeated Western New Mexico doubles' team of Rafael Catay and Wilton Atkins by an 8-6 count... handed Piotrek Banas and Piotr Olechowski of Louisiana-Lafayette an 8-4 setback at the number-one doubles' position... won four consecutive singles' matches at the number-one and -two positions by defeating opponents from Centenary, Cameron, UALR and Western New Mexico University... clinched a three-set victory over Piotr Olechowski of Louisiana-Lafayette playing in the number-two position... defeated Oscar Beich and Michael Hobson of Illinois State in doubles' competition with teammate Gonzalo Bienzobas by an 8-6 count... recorded a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Vlad Popa of Nicholls State playing at the number-two position... notched back-to-back victories in doubles' competition with Costa playing in the number-one position with victories coming against Centenary and Cameron... named to the 2008 Capital One Academic All-Southland Conference Men's Tennis Team.

Named SLC Newcomer of the Year and to the Singles First-Team (No.5) after posting a team leading 18-5 singles record including a prefect 6-0 finish in conference action... partnered with Alberto Agis for a 9-9 overall doubles record and 5-0 record in conference matches to earn an automatic spot on the SLC Doubles First-Team... posted wins against three ranked teams, No. 71 TCU, No. 62 Central Florida and won UTA's lone point against No.38 Texas A&M Corpus Christi 6-3 6-5 over Jaume Farras.
