NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - UT Arlington men's tennis concluded their season with a 4-1 loss to No. 64 UL Lafayette Saturday afternoon.
The Rajin Cajuns' took an early lead with win at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles position.
Sophomore Marek Pesicka was the first Maverick to fall in singles, as he lost in straight sets at the No. 1 position 6-1, 6-4.
Freshman Francesco Migliano kept the Mavericks' hopes alive with a 6-4, 6-2 win to make it a 2-1 match.
Sebastian Erimicioiu and Mario Muniesa lost at the No. 4 and No. 5 singles spots to give ULL the 4-1 victory.
The Mavericks complete their 2014 season 8-14 overall and 1-1 in the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
