ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's tennis hosts UL Lafayette Saturday morning at the UTA Tennis Center at 10 a.m.

The match will be the Mavericks' first home match in the 2014, as well as their first Sun Belt Conference match of the season. The Mavericks will have 13 matches at UTA Tennis Center this season.

"We are excited to play our first match at home and we're excited that we have a lot of home matches this season," UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said. "We are playing with five freshmen and two sophomores in the lineup, so we want to make sure they get comfortable playing in front of our home crowd."

UT Arlington is currently 0-2 after losing to Rice (4-0) and Lamar (4-3) on the road.

The Rajin' Cajuns come into the match riding a three-match winning streak with a 4-1 overall record. ULL will face Baylor before making its way to Arlington. Benitez will be leaning on Sebastian Erimicioiu and Daniel Armengol in singles play.

"Sebastian Erimicioiu and Daniel Armengol have been playing really good tennis, and hopefully the rest of the team will get on the same page," Benitez said.

Erimicioiu and Armengol defeated their Lamar opponents, and were unable to finish their matches against Rice.
