MT: Mavs host No. 35 TCU

ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's tennis hosts cross-town rival No. 35 TCU Sunday at 12 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center. 

“We definitely have to play consistent tennis against TCU,” UT Arlington head coach Diego Benitez said. “They have a solid deep line, but so do we. It’s going to be an intense match.” 

TCU has split its two matches against ranked opponents and are 1-2 overall on the season.

The last time UTA and TCU met, the Horned Frogs defeated the Mavericks 7-0.

UT Arlington is 2-3 overall and 0-1 in Sun Belt Conference competition after a 5-2 loss to UL Lafayette Sunday.

Freshman Daniel Armengol has a 3-1 at the No. 3 position, while sophomore Sebastian Erimicioiu is 3-1 at the No. 4 position.
