MT: Mavs face No. 16 Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington men’s tennis team will travel to Austin, Texas to take on the Longhorns Thursday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Penick-Allison Tennis Complex.

“We’re exciting about going down, it’s always a good match and fun to play in Austin,” UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said. “We are looking forward to the match.”

The Longhorns have returned all of their players from last year and added two new freshmen. Texas is 4-3 overall and has yet to play a home match

“I think we’re a much better team this year and exciting to watch,” Texas coach Michael Center about his 16th-nationally ranked squad.

The men have never won against Texas and are 1-2 overall this season with their lone win over Cameron University (6-1).
