ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington men’s tennis team heads to Sacramento, Calif. this weekend to face Sacramento State, UC Davis and Pacific.
The men open with the home team, Sacramento State, Saturday March 9 at 4 p.m. followed by UC Davis Sunday at 1 p.m. and Pacific Monday at noon.
The Mavericks have not seen actions since losing to New Mexico State 4-2 for their first Western Athletic Conference match of the season.
UTA is 3-4 overall and has a chance to walk away from this weekend’s play with a winning record.
Sacramento State is 3-6 on the season and the Hornets’ No. 1 doubles team is leading the team with a 7-2 record.
The UC Davis Aggies are 6-6 so far and have yet to lose at a neutral site. The team has lost three straight matches heading into this weekend’s competition.
Pacific is 6-4 throughout the season and is coming off a victory over Sacramento State (5-2).
