TEXAS-ARLINGTON DOUBLES TEAM RECEIVES AT-LARGE BID TO NCAA MEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington's nationally ranked doubles pair of Sandy Farquharson and Niels Buksik received an at-large bid to compete in the 2005 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships beginning May 25 in College Station.
The tandem, ranked 36th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, was originally selected as the top alternate and received the bid when another pair withdrew. Farquharson and Buksik mark the first UTA doubles team to compete in the tournament. The last Maverick to compete in the singles championships was David Corrie in 2004.
