MINDAUGAS CELEDINAS AND JASON LATEKO ADVANCE TO FINALS

Mavs Move to Day Three of Texas Invitational

Arlington, Texas - Mindaugas Celedinas and Jason Lateko continued their claim to the finals in day two of the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.

Celedinas recorded an easy 6-0, 7-6 victory over Duncan MacDonald-Korth of Oregon and will match-up against TAMU's Colin Hoover in the finals tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Lateko collected his third singles' win of the tournament with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Daniel Moreiras of UTSA. Lateko will face-off against David Pace of TAMU tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Hamon suffered a 6-3, 6-0 setback to Miguel R. Varlea of Texas in the quarterfinals.

In the consolation round, Dmitry Minkin recorded a 7-5, 6-3 win over Bernard Lancaster of St. Edward's.

Duo Brieuc Hamon and Adam Srkala dropped an 8-3 decision to Oregon's Alex Cornelissen and Marco Verdasco.

UTA will return back to the Penick-Allison Tennis Center tomorrow for the final day of the Texas Invitational.
